Miguel Mascarenhas is a Manager and an Ecological Environmental specialist that likes challenges, innovation and be a solution designer. As a consequence, at Bioinsight, Miguel assumes the role of business developer focused on leading a highly motivated team that also loves to be challenged, whether by complex project or the development of disruptive solutions. Together with is team, Miguel helps clients to achieve the development of sustainable projects without never forget the importance of protecting Biodiversity, a priceless asset for all of us. He considers a key factor to success, the development of a close relationship with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders that he likes to call partners.

Thought is career, Miguel developed a collection of skills in scientific methodologies (R&D), ecology, geographic information systems, fauna and flora survey programs, mitigation and compensation programs, data analysis, impact assessment and on the recent years he has developed management skill. He was involved in hundreds of environmental impact projects as an ecologist consultant and has coordinated some emblematic R&D projects such as Biologist-Dog Project and the Wind & Biodiversity project.

Miguel loves nature, long hiking trails with is dog where he can do some birdwatching and nature photography or just walk around on the country side with local people and learning local values e has a passions for outdoor sports.
